How we turn sustainability commitments into action

Sustainability is not a side project—it’s an ongoing part of how we design, produce, and improve our workwear.

Here we share updates on initiatives, partnerships, certifications, and concrete actions that help us reduce our impact and move closer to our long‑term goals. Because real progress comes from transparency, continuous learning, and turning ambition into measurable change.

Blåkläder strengthens own production capacity

Blåkläder is taking another important step towards driving real change within the industry by increasing the share of garments made in our own factories. In 2026, almost all products will be manufactured in facilities we own. Our new factory in Dhaka, Bangladesh, also enables us to produce knitted garments in-house for the first time. That means better conditions for our employees, lower climate impact and greater control over how our products are made.
